 1. What inspired the name Saphyr?

Saphyr is the common name for the flower that blooms on the flax plant from which linen fibers are extracted. The flowers grow in clusters with five petals that open at dawn and close in the same day. A field of flax in bloom looks like a reflection of the sky; the perfect name for a beautiful product!

3. How do I care for my linen?

The best way to care for your linen is to machine wash warm on the gentle cycle with like colors. Never use bleach! A non-chlorine bleach can be used if necessary. Tumble-dry low and remove promptly. The inherent wrinkles are a natural asset to the relaxed beauty of linen, but you may use a warm iron if preferred.

After the first or second wash, if you notice the raw edge start to "unravel" slightly, don't worry! This is completely natural. Just cut off any threads, and as your sheets are used and laundered a couple times the edge of the fibers will expand a bit to keep threads in place. 

4. What is the depth of your fitted sheets?

Our fitted sheets are 16” deep to accommodate the various mattress sizes in the market. Our fitted sheets have a high quality continuous elastic to make for a nicer fit.

5. What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and Saphyr pure linen gift cards.

6. How will my linen sheets be shipped?

We offer complimentary standard shipping (4-5 business days), applied to all orders within the United States. Expedited shipping is available for an extra fee.

7. Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship internationally yet, but check back soon because we hope to in the future!

8. What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase! If for any reason you are not, we will accept your unused or "gently used" items within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or even exchange.

10. How do I send a gift card?

After you purchase a gift card you will immediately receive an email. You, the buyer, can forward the email to the recipient or print it out and give the gift in person.

11. Does my gift card expire?

Your gift card will never expire.

12. Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?

Yes.

13. Can gift cards be used in conjunction with a discount code?

Yes, gift cards are a form of payment.
